- How much collagen is in each bottle?
- It comes in two doses of the same whole brew: 7,500mg per 100ml bottle — The Everyday, the full dose we recommend — and 15,000mg, The Flagship, our most generous. The Flagship is more collagen, not more results: past a point, more milligrams are generosity rather than extra effect. Both are independently lab-verified for content, and the report is available on request.
- What is the difference between the drink and the jelly?
- Same bottle, different temperature. Refrigerated overnight, the brew sets into a silky jelly you can spoon. At room temperature it stays a smooth, fragrant liquid you can drink straight from the bottle — no warming needed. The dose and the brew are identical — texture is your choice.
- Why does it turn into a jelly?
- Because it is nothing but collagen. Chilled, the collagen brewed out of the fish scales sets on its own — no agar, no commercial gelling powder, no added gelatin. Left at room temperature it melts back into a liquid, which an agar- or gelatin-set jelly never does. That wobble, and that melt, are the proof that what is in the bottle is real collagen and very little else.
- Do you make a hydrolysed collagen peptide drink?
- Yes — a 50ml shot, 7,500mg of Type I collagen as peptides and tripeptides with vitamin C. It is on sale now, sold as a month: 30 bottles, shipped as three boxes of ten, on the same monthly subscription as the jelly. What separates it from most peptide drinks is where it starts: whole deep-sea fish scales arrive at our own facility and are hydrolysed there with papain enzyme. Most collagen drinks begin as hydrolysed peptide powder bought in bulk from an ingredient supplier and stirred into juice, so the scale itself never enters the factory. - Is the peptide shot better than the jelly?
- No — and it is not the worse one either. Hydrolysis breaks collagen into shorter chains; that is simply what the word means, and a shorter chain is not a promise of a better outcome. Both are 7,500mg of Type I collagen a day, from the same deep-sea fish scales, made in the same facility. The honest difference is the form: the jelly is 100ml and sets on its own because there is nothing in it but collagen; the shot is 50ml and stays liquid, because here the scales are hydrolysed rather than left whole, and it goes down in a mouthful. Two forms of one collagen — take whichever you will actually keep up for 90 days.
- Should I take the jelly or the peptide shot?
- Whichever one you will finish. They are the same 7,500mg of Type I collagen a day, from the same deep-sea fish scales, made in the same facility; both are sold as a month and both take the same monthly subscription. What differs is the form. The jelly is the whole brew, 100ml, eaten cold with a spoon or drunk straight from the bottle — it sets on its own because there is nothing in it but collagen. The shot is 50ml, hydrolysed rather than left whole, so it stays liquid and goes down in a mouthful first thing in the morning. - How does it compare to marine or bovine collagen?
- Beyond Collagen+ is a fish scale collagen — a specific type of marine collagen. The bigger difference is not the source but the processing: most marine and bovine products are hydrolysed into peptide powders, while ours is the whole collagen, brewed fresh and never stripped down — which is why it sets into a jelly on its own. Beyond that, what matters is dietary fit (fish scale suits halal-conscious buyers; there is no added gelatin of any origin), sustainability, and what else is in the bottle. - Does it taste fishy?
- No. Properly processed fish scale collagen has effectively no taste of its own — what you taste is the brew: pandan, lemongrass, longan, and red dates. A fishy aftertaste in collagen drinks is a function of processing quality, not the fish. Customers who have tried other collagen drinks and stopped because of the taste consistently mention that ours is different.
- What is the shelf life?
- Three months from brewing day, refrigerated or at room temperature, away from sunlight. The expiry date is printed on every bottle. We chose three months deliberately — most powdered collagen claims twelve to twenty-four months by drying out at high temperatures, which the collagen survives but the herbs do not. Fresh-brewed costs us shelf life and gives you a bottle that still tastes of the brewing day.
- How long until I see results?
- It varies from person to person, and it isn't an overnight change. Collagen gives your body the building blocks it makes its own collagen from — a food, not a quick fix — so consistency matters far more than any single bottle. We'd say give it 90 days of mostly-daily use. Some people notice changes sooner, some later; both are normal.
- What is in it besides the fish-scale collagen?
- Six brewed ingredients: deep-sea fish-scale collagen, dried goji berries, dried longan, red dates, lemongrass, and pandan leaves. The Sugar version adds a small amount of honey rock sugar (蜜冰糖); the No-Sugar version omits it. Nothing else — no preservatives, no synthetic flavourings, no artificial colour.
- Is it halal?
- Sourced from halal-certified suppliers and HALVEC-verified. JAKIM certification is in process — please reach out via WhatsApp for the latest status before ordering.
- Is it safe during pregnancy or while nursing?
- Beyond Collagen+ is made from food-grade ingredients you would find in a home kitchen — fish-scale collagen and TCM botanicals. Even so, one of those botanicals (goji) carries a traditional caution in pregnancy, and we make no pregnancy health claims — so please check with your doctor before starting during pregnancy or while nursing.
- Is it suitable for diabetics?
- The No-Sugar version contains no added sugar — only the gentle natural sweetness of the brewed longan and red dates. The Sugar version contains a small amount of honey rock sugar (蜜冰糖) and is best avoided if you are managing blood sugar tightly. As with any food choice for diabetes management, please consult your doctor before adding it to your routine; the No-Sugar variant is the lower-glycaemic option.
- What is the difference between Sugar and No-Sugar?
- Same brew, same dose. The Sugar version contains a small amount of honey rock sugar (蜜冰糖) — a traditional sweetener common in Cantonese herbal preparations. The No-Sugar version omits it entirely. Both taste of the herbs; the sugar version is a touch warmer on the palate.
- Where does the fish come from?
- Deep-sea fish scales, sustainably sourced. The flesh of the fish reaches local markets; we use the scales, which would otherwise be discarded. The collagen extracted is Type I — the same form most abundant in human skin and connective tissue.
- When should I drink it?
- Morning, on an empty stomach, ideally an hour before your first meal — the traditional way to take a nourishing brew, and it keeps the ritual simple. One 100ml bottle a day; there is no benefit to more. Pair it with something rich in vitamin C if you can.
- Do I need to take it with vitamin C?
- It helps. Your body uses vitamin C when it builds collagen from the building blocks a food like this provides, so pairing your bottle with something rich in vitamin C — a squeeze of citrus, a piece of fruit — is a good habit. It is not required, and you do not need a separate supplement; whole food is plenty.
- Does it need to be refrigerated?
- Stable at room temperature, away from sunlight, for the full three-month shelf life. Refrigerating turns it into the jelly form and keeps it cooler in tropical heat. Both forms are equally effective — the choice is texture.
- Can I warm it up — will heating destroy the collagen?
- No — warming does not destroy the collagen. Most people simply spoon it cold as a jelly or drink it straight from the bottle, with no warming at all. If you prefer it warm, stir in a little hot water for a fragrant tonic: the collagen is already a brewed, food-grade protein that was retort-sterilised at about 115°C when it was bottled, so a hot drink is far gentler than what it has already been through. Warming only melts the set jelly back into the liquid it is at room temperature — it changes the temperature, not the collagen.
- Can I take it with other supplements?
- In general, yes. Collagen peptides do not interact strongly with most vitamin or mineral supplements, and many customers pair Beyond Collagen+ with vitamin C (which the body uses in collagen synthesis). We would suggest spacing it from heavy iron supplements by an hour or two, since iron and amino acids can compete for absorption. If you take prescription medication — especially blood-thinners or thyroid medication — please check with your doctor before adding any new supplement to your routine.
- What if I miss a day?
- Just resume the next day. Collagen replaces what your body is slowing to produce after thirty — the rhythm matters more than any single missed day. Three months of mostly-daily use will tell you more than three months of perfectly-daily use. If you have missed several days in a row, simply pick up again; there is no need to double up the dose to catch up.

- Where is it manufactured?
- In Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The brew is made in small batches at our Kuala Lumpur brewery and bottled within hours of brewing day, then shipped from there to customers across Singapore and Malaysia.
- Is it KKM/NPRA registered?
- Beyond Collagen+ is classified as a botanical beverage under Malaysian food regulations, which sits outside the KKM/NPRA health-supplement notification framework. The product complies with the Malaysian food-safety standards applicable to that category. We do not claim KKM/NPRA registration because, for this product class, it does not apply.
- How does the monthly subscription work?
